I'm going to..
Take a few days off from the blog. Yesterday I was donating platelets at my local blood donation center and because I have funny veins the needle punctured my vein. What that means is that the needle went through my vein and blood started to go into the muscle tissue. The response time of the woman watching me was on the slow side and as a result I had a really painful experience and right now I have the equivalent of a dead arm with a goose egg on it. I'm going to take a few days off and try and get my arm back to normal, then i'll go back to posting information for you all to enjoy. Sorry for the absence. I hope i'm missed.

ReplyDeleteHope you feel better
ReplyDeleteIt's all right man. We'll be here waiting for you. Good luck until then!
ReplyDeleteWow that sucks man, get well soon. Sucks that you get hurt from doing something voluntarily.
ReplyDeleteI had that happen to me when I was getting my blood tested, the nurse poked a little too deep and it stabbed my muscle...
ReplyDeleteOuch, that sucks dude! Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks, doing a good thing and getting kind of screwed over in the act :/ Hope you get better soon, bro
ReplyDeleteNice, have fun !
ReplyDeleteShit, dude! That sucks! Not a good advertisement for donating platelets...
ReplyDeleteWell, I love to donate, so it won't stop me in the future. The real problem lies with how my veins are laid out. My most prominent ones start at the elbow crease and go upwards to the top of my arm. Needles weren't made to draw and pump blood back in at such an angle. It's not the donation process that messed up, I'm just built in such a way that the process is tricky.
